Camping out and Hiking at Thacher Park

Wow, I have so many pictures to catch up on! We had a really busy weekend, and the week has been ULTRA busy for both the Mr. and me so far. The weather has been stunning, and I'm pretty sure I cold tolerate this weather for a LOT longer. *that's a hint to the weatherman!!*

So, Friday night we dined on 'camping' food and got a nice roaring fire going. ...and, of course, we made sure to have a s'more or two!

and then, she {snapped}

The next day we went hiking. And we saw a TON of gigantic caterpillars. You may or may not know how I feel about caterpillars.

...and this guy was the MONSTER of caterpillars. The picture makes him look small, but I swear he was like 3 inches. {My mind may have exaggerated this while Mr. snapped this shot.}

I like the texture and colors of these trees.

You have some awsome pictures. Lovely fall colors. Those caterpillars are interesting. I have never seen one with a stipe. They usually are very dark brown. Hope they don't bite like they can down South. Joan

I really like your first two campfire pictures! I'm totally not a camping kind of girl, but I'm all about spending time outside. As long as I have a cozy indoor place to sleep :)
