Being busy, a poll, and summer rain

The skies have finally given in and we're getting some summer rain!  Finally, I don't have to feel guilty about getting work done inside. It's been so pleasant outside the past few weeks, that it just seems like I should be doing something outside. Today, I will hopefully be a phenomenal powerhouse of paperwork, name-changing, and form-filling.

I thought the texture from the raindrops was pretty awesome. I took this with my phone, which is usually not my camera of choice, but I liked it. {Yes, the plants are all in a sad state- pretty sure we planted them too late.}

Fill In The Blank Friday

1.   My favorite color is       green. Always has been one of my favorites!

2.  My travel destination of choice is    Hawaii (at least for places I’ve already visited) It’s beautiful, warm, breezy, and has practically no bugs. ME GUSTA!  .

3.  My favorite  food is     spaghetti or smoothies. Depending on what I’m hungry for, one of these two will always beat the hunger!!  .

4.  My happy place is  not really a place, more of a state of mind. In that case, anywhere that I can be relaxed is a happy place! .

5.  My favorite saying is      "Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out” by Robert Collier. It’s a good reminder that success is rarely immediate or without hard work.  

6.  My dirty little secret is     I get frustrated when other people complain about homework and studying when so many people struggle for access to any education at all . Yeah, so, I’m kind of the wrong person to rant to about hating homework.  Be thankful!! *steps off soapbox*

7.  Something friends might say about me is that I       need mental stimulation to keep busy, otherwise I get bored very quickly. Without activities, I will begin to chew on shoes. Wait...that sounds like a beagle. But, you get the idea.
