Fill In The Blank Friday

1.   My favorite color is       green. Always has been one of my favorites!

2.  My travel destination of choice is    Hawaii (at least for places I’ve already visited) It’s beautiful, warm, breezy, and has practically no bugs. ME GUSTA!  .

3.  My favorite  food is     spaghetti or smoothies. Depending on what I’m hungry for, one of these two will always beat the hunger!!  .

4.  My happy place is  not really a place, more of a state of mind. In that case, anywhere that I can be relaxed is a happy place! .

5.  My favorite saying is      "Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out” by Robert Collier. It’s a good reminder that success is rarely immediate or without hard work.  

6.  My dirty little secret is     I get frustrated when other people complain about homework and studying when so many people struggle for access to any education at all . Yeah, so, I’m kind of the wrong person to rant to about hating homework.  Be thankful!! *steps off soapbox*

7.  Something friends might say about me is that I       need mental stimulation to keep busy, otherwise I get bored very quickly. Without activities, I will begin to chew on shoes. Wait...that sounds like a beagle. But, you get the idea.

Fill in the Blank Friday! Vacation edition

This week for Fill-in-the-Blank-Friday, the theme is vacations!

1.   This weekend I'm       probably going on an anniversary date and studying for the final next week   and      I am looking forward to dressing up and going out way more than the studying!  .

2.  My last vacation was    oh gosh, um...? Probably Hawaii almost a year ago for our honeymoon.  I don't think I've been on any real vacations since then.  I've visited people, but I don't know if anything else has counted as a 'vacation'. 

3.  My next vacation will be     probably in August, although it's still up in the air.

4.  My favorite way to relax is   either going to the pool on a sunny day, or listening to music and playing useless games  .

5.  When vacationing one should always    bring snacks for the car/plane/train/bus and leave space to bring back souvenirs.   

6.  When vacationing one should never   drink all the water one brought right away (since one probably ate all the salty snacks right away), otherwise the next few exits with gas stations will become mandatory pit stops. 

7.  The best part about a vacation is   not worrying about minutia! {Which should be banned on all vacations!!!}  The best vacations are care-free .

Can I go back there??

I wish I would have known how to use my camera better, and this doesn't do it justice, but I thought the shoreline with all the buildings lit up was really pretty.

Fill in the Blank Friday

1.   If I could get away somewhere for the weekend I would go  somewhere tropical, wherever cheap plane tickets take me!  Otherwise, maybe I’d go camping.  Either way, I would bring Mr., bug spray, SPF, my camera, a swim-suit.

2.  Something I often rant about is   bad drivers! Check out this post. Oh, and those lines and arrows? You're supposed to follow the arrows. Unless it's opposite day in traffic-land. Whatever. oy.

3.  One item I need to have in my fridge at all time is  garlic in the jar (or some call it jarlic). For liquids,  either A)orange juice or B)pomegranate+blueberry juice, depending on which is cheaper at the store.

4.  My "life-saving" product is   Is the Internet a product? I figure ‘product’ implies something physical… applesauce? It’s recently been my breakfast food of choice, since milk+cereal = blechhhHH.

5.  A friend is someone who    you can act like yourself around, and they still want to talk to you. 

6.  If I could write my own blank it would be       My favorite kind of dessert is: and I would answer this by saying:  Mud cups, with gummy worms in it. Yum! {Well, that's my favorite dessert right now. It changes often.}


7.  My favorite kind of art is abstract art with bright colors! Even with the same picture, I can keep seeing new shapes and designs in it.

There are my answers for 'Fill in the Blank Friday'! I got done with my quiz pretty quick this morning, which was a good sign.

We're working on making travel dates for when we'll fly back to visit, but nothing is solid yet. Coordinating plans with many people is kind of difficult! The sooner we buy tickets, the cheaper they are.  And right now, cheap is good!  

I spent all of yesterday cramming for my test, and now I have a little spare time to check out advanced programs and jobs.  Time to spend a little quality time with my transcripts and resume!

Fill in the Blank Friday

1.   People always tell me I look like ... I've been told I look like Maggie Gyllenhall once, and Natalie Portman once. But I don't think I buy it.

2.  Friends don't let friends... not be friends? Hmmm. 

3.  A sunny day is perfect for... hiking/biking/walking to a picnic spot, and then having a picnic. DUH!

4.  My favorite accessory is ...my wedding ring. {Does that count?} I suppose I also like my hairpiece I wore at my wedding, but I don't really have a lot of chances to wear that.

5.  If I could afford it I would...travel every weekend, visiting  beach resorts and spas all around the world.  Yes, that would be blissful. :)

6.  The cure for boredom is ...video games, movies, playing music, the Internet, reading, exercising.

7.  I am currently "in like" with ...the movie 'THOR' and my soft, brightly colored T-shirts (purple, neon yellow, bright pink, bright blue). Exciting, right?
